Improved -- It seems the LT1086-12 model sets up a little "Show"here . . .
No concert v. -- although it simulates fine /!\ there'll be a point of concern selecting the proper xx78Lxx as the one i got was "factory tuned" to something 12.4V ((+3.3% systematical ? = no problem - the datasheet specifies ±(5% systematic ±0.75% line- (±0.417% load regulation)) =/!\ 12±0.74V )) . . . while the above grid shows some 9±0.00003V load regulation (which in practice should be expected at least 10x worse OR ±0.0033% load regulation) . . . blah, blah
