SMPS experimental test

MC33063 -- 9V to 5V

Custom -- 9V to 5V with the uni-polar or basically the ON-OFF control

. . . the uni-polar to bi-polar PWM control signal formation block (essential tests)

!! update !!

Random feedback circuitry . . . is "doable" test ::

The bi-polar control circuit -- occasionally skips to 800kHz mode::

With modified MOS-Fet drive stage -- without feedback stays at 166kHz

Sine wave crystal oscillator concept

i still poorly understand how to frequency tune this thing . . . but the main concept has been achieved -- a pure undistorted sine wave form for crystal . . .

. . . i find it curious that the appropriate web search can't find any analog circuits for such . . . . . . . . . even more curious is the fact that most micro controllers use digital/discreet stages based quartz drivers that for lower frequency X-tal-s as far as i get attempt to over stress the device and eventually ruin or kill it ???
(8 billion people with no brain on this planet ... statistically impossible but is what the prolonged web search stat.-s retrieves - i roger it but i can't get it - it's insane)

update 2017.04.10 21:41 UTC+3h : revised an old design -- not as good as previous but seemingly near the sine -- also uses a lot of less power -- it likely would work and with even less power but assumingly with longer startup time

DAC test

CD4069 outputs are referenced to supply median

checking if such produces a linear ramp . . .
all fun of resolving a simple 3 - supply voltage divider (finding the formula for UX)

. . . checking if such produces a linear ramp in excel . . .
-- the value 1/2 used in LT Spice seems to be incorrect . . .

Random

some tests ...

an attempt to get this thing to work at 1.2V . . . the lesser the resistances the greater the speed the more narrow the operating range (resistor = current regulator) , the higher the voltage the faster the qircuit the more sensible a decision to buy the commercial stuff (muhahaa) ↑↑

how to amplitude limit the above the kHz sine wave ↑↑

Adjusting the fixed (3 terminal) voltage regulators

extends:: Adjusting the adjustable voltage regulator , Apr 5, 2015

(Std./)Simple v. :

with LT1086 (1.24V - adjustable) it gives seemingly errorless output ?

Op. Amp. v. :

it looks it is impossible to gain the ±2µV error level with just the one op-amp ►►
(the reference must be flawless as it shows on the graph. ???)
The Red LED-s are so cool for voltage adjustment -- their non-linear range begins below 275µA , they have sharper "turn on" than conventional detergents -- which puts them to (Diode,Stabistor,Red-LED,Zener Diode) this position - i assume . . .

Update :: 2016-03-11 ► Insane :

seemingly "absolute" voltage reference at 1 Hz

Op.-Amp. Tutorial No.1 - DC Level Shift

Buffered v. . . .

a level sift with and without the polarity inversion
. . . Unbuffered

You dont want to level-shift the unbuffered signal !!!

theoretical wall ~AC line detector

since there is reason to believe the ®´s j-fet input stage rather attenuates than amplifies
the E - field variations i set up a simple band-pass based 1 ::

this might still require extra input stage (for deep buried wires)
+ experiment with the layout , sensor , 3-sholds´ sensitivities before we can say if it´s for any good

updated an old Sq.-wave oscillator to a voltage controlled one -
to be mixed with prev. ~50Hz output ::

it is good to pre-test and choose + adj. the optos to the same transfer ratio ,
everything else shouldn´t be too much trouble ?

an Op-Amps based "Proximity detector" + alternate sine generator

my 1-st concept of proximity detector ::

too many components for flame (color temperature (rainbow)) Christmas lights ::

grid:

plot:
B4:A4:Y4:X4 -- Red:Green:Blue:Red (!!! a color for the Flame effect -- not generated by this circuit . . .)

trivia:
using switching and level hold the number of chains reduces to one -- it still might be more practical to use AD and DA converters with digital function generators (?EEPROM) , level hold switced output to gain the voltage 2 color effect of your like ... or use 4 differently biased optos or use a fine adjusted PNP NPN chain (cost efficient) , e.c. . . .

the varying color predecessor of the previous -- an alternative sine generator ::

drawing (supposedly) only 125µA from the 5V source
